Sunrise Golf Course is a Public 9 hole golf course located in Bettendorf, Iowa.
Sunrise Golf Course first opened for play in 1982. The course was designed by Jerry Lockey.
Sunrise Golf Course has tree-lined fairways and elevated, difficult to read greens. The clubhouse used to be an old barn. Water hazards come into play on at least four different occasions.
Par for the course is 35. From the back tees, the course plays to 2,998 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,429 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 510 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 150 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, a 385 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Sunrise Golf Course is # 2, the 150 yard par-3. There is an additional set of men's tees that can be used when double looping for an eighteen hole round.

This used to be a fairly nice 9 hole course, not the best layout, but okay for a quick nine holes. We never had to wait for a tee time, because there was no one there besides the regulars sitting at the bar. It's a locals course. Uncomfortable with the locals watching. Since the clubhouse burned down it looks like they've given up. I've played a few times since the fire, but not any more. The owners attitude seems as if they don't care. Several greens have more dirt than grass. The water hazards are filled with scum. It's just a place that I wouldn't go back to.
