Sweet Hollow Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Corbin, Kentucky with membership opportunities.
Sweet Hollow Golf Course first opened for play in 1995. The course was designed by Chuck Phelps and Lester Finley.
Sweet Hollow was developed and created by Lester Finley, a local businessman. Lester was well known for the popular Finley’s Drive-In and Finley’s Roller Rink working with the youth from the 50's to the
21st Century.
In 1977 Lester turned his desires and challenged his expectations to the outskirts of town. Later to be known as “Sweet Hollow”, a 400-acre resort catering to the kids and the community throughout the surrounding areas. Sweet Hollow was built to become a Church Camp for All Kids to Enjoy... In hopes that the Future will bring that Dream to Come True.
The Name Sweet Hollow, originated by Mr. Finley.
Sweet Hollow caters to the local golfers with our nine-hole golf course. The golf course is challenging with over 12 water hazards taking in 125 acres of bermuda fairways, tee boxes, and bent grass greens. The course is an all seasons course open to the general public and members.
The course plays to a 9-hole par of 36 and maximum 9-hole distance of 3,240 yards.
