Mallard Golf Club is a public 18-hole golf course located in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Jeff Blume designed the course, which opened late in 2021.
The golf course is surrounded by native areas, no trees and is reminiscent of a Scottish links course, providing a unique Louisiana golf experience. The golf course has fast, firm fairways with generous landing areas for maximum roll.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,181 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,385 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 584 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays 175 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, a 4303-yard par-4 challenge, and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Mallard is # 10, a 355 yard par-4.
