This tight course has a lot of trees which can alter your shots. The greens and average-sized.

Played here 12-31-12 for $16 with the Tee Time book, a real bargain. Course is muni, and gets lots of play, and it shows. Cart paths are particularly rough and need redone, and fairway edges are raggedy from cart traffic. Otherwise, the layout itself is excellent. Fine design, fully integrating the rolling landscape, with lots of mature trees. Some water, but not particularly hard to avoid: none of those "must-carry" shots to deal with. Bunkering is modest, and most seemed easily avoided. Some fairways are sloped enough to require caution, but most are pretty generous in the landing area. Overall, a friendly design. Conditions were pretty good for time of year: greens were excellent, fairways a bit less so, and kinda thin. Bunkers looked OK, not washed out or rutted. Tee markers were all pulled up and bunched to let the normal teeing ground heal up. Clubhouse is a bit dated, and probably due for an upgrade, but the staff I met was excellent: very hospitable and informative. Course is pretty compact, but the verticality makes it difficult to walk, especially for us seniors. I recommend!

Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

Some holes are foregiving, and others are narrow and slopes can penalize wayward shots.
