Sterling National Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Sterling, Massachusetts.

Sterling National Country Club first opened for play in 1991. The course was designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan.

#6 is a great driving hole framed by two huge pines. You tee off in the town of Sterling and land in Lancaster! The second shot skirts a deceiving wetland area, with more room in the approach to the green than meets the eye. A deep, two-level green is guarded on the right by a towering oak. You don’t get back into Sterling until Hole #11.

#7, a par-3, has two separate tee complexes give two completely different looks to this interesting hole. One angle crosses a wetland to a wide but shallow target, while the other is all land to a deep, narrow green protected by bunkers.

#17 is the signature hole. This par-4 can play as short as 257 yards and as long as 401 yards. From the back tee, this can be a monster hole. However, the tee shot carry over the wetlands decreases significantly as the tees progress forward making it a playable hole for all levels. The second shot, assuming you drive clears the wetlands, is uphill, to the largest green on the course

The course plays to a par-71 and maximum distance of 6,667 yards. The forward tees measure 4,951 yards.
