Played this course in September, one of the worst courses I have ever played! Maintenance of the course is non-existent and the greens were mostly dead or dying! Utterly disappointed in this place. Tee boxes were dirt, price way too high, should be $10 ! Don't waste your money.

This is a very demanding tract! We had not played it for years because of the ridiculous tee time rules but decided to try it again at the special price of $30 with cart & balls. They are frequently making such offers through Groupon-like sites. The fairways, however, were the worst of all courses we played during the summer--many bare spots. At least the lack of friendliness and ridiculous tee time rules (e.g., would not book two groups booked together back to back in the past) are in the past. Try it if you get a good deal but realize it may not be in great shape.

The layout of the course is challenging, but enjoyable. Many wetland areas that you need to hit over. All fairways are heavily tree lined, if you spray your tee ball you will be in trouble. I play this course regularly; the quality of the tee boxes and greens can vary. When they course is in good shape it’s a great track.

Expensive, very difficult. Not at all fun for average golfer. Lots of hidden hazards, swamps, stuff that Robin Williams talks about in his Scottish Monologue on golf. Narrow target golf.
I used to play this course once a year because it had reputation for being a premium course.
Now I avoid it. As for the value and overall ranking, in mid summer fairways are not in top quality in spots and the course is just too hard to be fun.

I have played this course over the years and it is obvious it is in declining condition. Although it has been a tough winter up north - the course shows the effects of long term neglect. The layout is tough for the average golfer and high handicappers will have a very difficult time. This once was a very nice course to play even with it's difficult layout. I will not return until I hear that some major restoration has taken place.
