Established in 1894, the Cohasset Golf Club is one of the oldest private clubs in America. Originally, a 6-hole course and modest cottage provided the founding thirty members with a venue for their outdoor recreation and social gatherings. Today, members enjoy their rounds on a gracious 18-hole championship Donald Ross course, and practice on a conveniently located driving range.

Cohasset Golf Club has beautiful tree-lined fairways and water hazards coming into play on five holes. This club has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S.

Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,168 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 5,558 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 576 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 138 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 4, the 576 yard par-5 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 15, a 178 yard par-3.
