Sharon Country Club is a Private, 9 hole golf course located in Sharon, Massachusetts.
Sharon Country Club first opened for play in 1888 on what was then O'Leary's farm on East Street. Some golf enthusiasts rented part of George O'Leary's cow pasture to establish a course
The first Clubhouse was a small, rustic building near the center of the property- a structure now used for storage (near the new Maintenance facility). The present Clubhouse was originally the O'Leary Dairy Barn.
In 1921 the farm was purchased by Sharon Country Club. The cow pasture was "improved" to a more conventional type course and the barn conversion to a Clubhouse was completed in 1923.
The course was designed by Alex Findlay and Wayne Stiles.
Sharon Country Club remained a 9 Hole course until 2002 when 3 more holes were added.
This is a challenging course with narrow fairways, hilly terrain, and small greens. Water comes into play on two holes.

Great layout in excellent condition. Club house old, but serviceable. Bargain price for a private course in MA.
