Apple Mountain Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Freeland, Michigan.
Apple Mountain Golf Course opened in 1998. The course was designed by John S. Sanford, Jr.
Apple Mountain Golf Course has seven miles of cart paths and the highest elevated tees in the area. Holes #5 and #6 both tee off from a hill that leads to a ninety-foot drop to the green. The course offers scenic surroundings. Carts are mandatory to transport you throughout the seven mile trek for this course.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,962 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,978 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-5 that plays to 583 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 165 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 15, a 583 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Apple Mountain Golf Course is # 7, a 170 yard par-3.
