Pilgrim's Run Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Pierson, Michigan.
Pilgrim's Run Golf Course opened it's front nine in July of 1997 and the back nine in 1998. The course was designed by Kris Schumacker and Mike DeVries.
The terrain at Pilgrim's Run Golf Course is gently rolling and features sculpted bunkers. Built on over 400 acres, the course at Pilgrim's Run features a natural wooded terrain. The fairways are spacious and the ample greens feature plenty of undulation.
The course has just three par-3s but also has four par-4's measuring less than 330 yards from the Blue tees, all are good opportunities for par or maybe birdie. The most memorable of these is the last, a 322-yard, risk-reward finishing hole. Most golfers will lay up, but if your inner voice says, "Well, punk, you feel lucky, well do ya" you can try bombing a 250-yard drive over the pond leaving a short chip to the elevated green.
Pilgrim's Run Golf Course plays to a par-73 and 7,078 yards from the back tees for a course rating of 74.1 and a slope rating of 137. Three other tee box measuring 6,437 yards, 5,686 yards and 4,771 yards are available.
Gold tees: par-73, 7,078 yards, 74.1/137
Blue tees: par-73, 6,437 yards, 71.0/130
White tees: par-73, 5,686 yards, 67.3/123
Red tees: par-73, 4,771 yards, 67.7/116

Great Course, Great Price! Only complaint was the pace was a bit slow, but who can blame many people for wanting to play this course!

The course is laid out in an excellent way with unique features and challenges on each hole. It is a beautiful setting and is a great place to play from spring to fall. Jeff O'Malley, Director of Golf, is a great person to work with.

Last played here in 2000 and paid $37, got the 2016 Tuesday Senior $30 special today which is GREAT for this course. Not a flaw in conditions from tee to green in this spread out, tree lined track. Pin placements made these fast greens made them tougher than they already were. We started playing from the tips (Gold 7,078yd / 74.1 / 137) but moved to the Blues (6,437yd / 71.0 / 130) with better landing areas for our shorter length drives. The pace was slower than I like because of all the grey hairs (4.75hrs) but the views/price was worth the wait from the normal $57 price tag. Shot 40/42 w/38putts and was glad I played Sunday at Jackson Country Club to get my putting speed down. Best course in the area with conditions / treatment to match any Country Club setting. Must play if in this area and take advantage of the Tuesday Senior special.
