Ironwood Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Howell, Michigan.

Ironwood first opened for play in 1972. The course was designed by Carl Stepcar.

The fairways are narrow. They  were cut through mature woods, making. The terrain is hilly, so you can expect many uneven lies.  Water hazards come into play on a number of holes.

Fairways are too close together and most fairways are too tight for a weekend golfer! Tee boxes were beat up and not well maintained.

Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I won't play again, I wouldn't recommend this course, Average course for the area

For the $25 18/cart (Spring/fall)this is a good price with the various hole layouts (rolling) you encounter. #3 & #12 are very mental layouts and need to be played more than once to get it right. (Driver w/ fade) In the summer the prime time pace slows down and price goes up better in the PM for pace.

Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
