Cascades Golf Course, Executive Nine

I originally rated this course under "Cascades Short Course" because that's what it is. Par 3 layout with four (4) par 4 holes. Small greens make it great for iron tune-ups (6I-PW) that hold good and in GREAT shape for the traffic they see. Good starter walking course for kids and seniors w/ $6 price you can't go wrong. I play it most early Saturday mornings @ 6am-7:15am for 9 holes to get the irons hot for Sunday afternoon outings. Rating is based on practice conditions.

My ranking for this course is based on the ability to practice my short irons to greens the size of a average living room. Not busy in the early AM so I'll play 2-3 balls to keep sharp. At $10/9holes you'll find out how good your short game really is. Great for younger kids that are learning to play "Tee to Green" before they get on the real course. Greens are kept in great shape for the type of traffic they see with fairways better than some big courses I've played. Dropp the kids off here and then you go play the big course next door.
