The Falls At Barber Creek opened for play in 2007. The course was designed by Harvey Cole.
There are plans to expand the 9-hole, par-36, 3,051 yard course to an 18-hole venue in the future. Located on a former 230-acre gravel quarry, the land has been shaped into an incredible public golf course. The course offers a challenge for the beginner to the most advanced golfer. The property features a spectacular 34-foot waterfall, beautiful lakes, and mature trees. Breathtaking scenery, dramatic elevation changes and exquisite attention to detail punctuate this original design. The blue grass fairways, Scottish style rough, and sculpted bent grass greens give each of the course's nine holes a unique appearance. Experience first hand the course that has critics raving!
The current 9-Hole layout features holes that will be incorporated into both sides of the fiuture 18-Hole Championship Course. A stunning new par-3 will be rotated in play in 2012, and construction is well under way on a challenging par-5.

In forty years I have never been treated so rudely. The staff followed us around trying to make the beginner golfers play faster so the course could make more money. We have played this course in the past and have not had this kind of treatment in the past. The staff complained that we took 22 minutes to long to play the nine holes. This was not enjoyable for our friends that we invited to experience this course. I do not believe we will play here again.
