Closing out the year and had to play Arbor Hills ($25) one more time. No disappointment as to the course conditions even as fall raises is head and lowers its leaves. Greens still fast and SMOOTH, fairways cut short, rough is long, leaves pushed way back and the sand still deep and soft. Shot 87/39 putts and good friend Mark 90/36putts in 3.5hrs for an enjoyable round with course conditions that are never surprising only our golf games. That's the way it should be. If you ever play golf in the Jackson area, playing here is a must as it still has its Country Club roots in the conditions and service.

For the senior rate of $23.00 / 18cart, this is must play in Jackson county for a 6,500yd old school fairway and greens. Demanding fairways that aren't always straight forward to small, fast rolling greens that are true and fast. Played a 2-man scramble and shot even par w/ 4 birds and 4 bogies as will happen if someone can't find the fairway. Got 2 skins so that was worth braging rights. Always a great place to stop with quality conditions and deals.

Always try to play here at least 3 times each summer and hope that my driver can find the fairway, this is VERY importian. As always, conditions are perfect with the tight cut fairways, smooth rolling greens and thick rough in the first 10' off the fairways. Very easy to score good from the narrow fairways, but miss and you better play smart for the bogey. Shot 81/31putts and was covering the landing areas very well, which is rare. Even though its not a Country Club anymore, they still maintain those high condition standards and keeping the price LOW to get play. (Novel idea) Being an old designed layout, walking is VERY easy here BUT, for $20 speical a cart looks very good. With 23 courses in Jackson county, this is the best value, hands down in every aspect.

This 6,500 yd course demands your best game when it comes to hitting these lighting fast greens. Fairways are mowed tight with 3-4" rough to keep your score / Hcp very honest. If you spray your tee shot you'll pay the price as there are no short cuts to the greens. The best $30 18/cart you'll get BUT you must like the challenge of tight landing areas with best greens in the area.
