Each of their three signature courses, has a noted designer. The Bear by Jack Nicklaus, the Wolverine by Gary Player and Spruce Run by William Newcomb.

Each nine offers its own challenges. The course weaves through water and wetlands on the front nine, and highland terrain with hardwoods and views of Grand Traverse Bay on the back nine. Flexibility, versatility, and playability are built into this unique course, which offers four tees on each hole.

Other features include strategically placed, easily visible white-sand bunkers; several large lakes; rolling fairways; and gently contoured greens. The Wolverine has generous fairways and broad landing areas. Golfers can chip and run from fairways to greens.
