The Ponds Golf Course first opened for play in 2000. The course was designed by Gil Miller The course is the centerpiece of a very unpretentious community filled with nice people and 27 holes of atypical golf. The Ponds course was always a part of the community design, having been roughed in then developed a little later after many of the home sites. But the site was always intended to be 27 holes - this is not a "retro fit" of an 18 to stretch it to 27.
The course has holes with wood-lined fairways, rolling hills, carpet thick grass and let's not forget the ponds! A strategic combination designed to please your eyes as much as it challenges your game! Each 18-hole combination play to par-72 and over 6,500 yards.

Current owners have allowed this layout to "go south". The fairways and greens were shaggy and almost un-puttable due to poor care. Normal course maintenance has been neglected. I got a bargain to play the course, but it is not worthy of playing at any price. Very poor condition from its previous level.
