Gross National first opened for play in 1925. The course was designed by W.D. Clark.
A "great layout" is how most of their golfers describe the Gross National Golf Club Golf Course; another reason Gross has been considered “The People’s Choice'' for years. It has gently rolling hills with elevated tees and greens. There are three sets of tee-markers on each hole to challenge all skill levels. Gross National is a mature course with lots of old trees.
Gross National Golf Course plays to a par-71 and a maximum distance of 6,574 yards. The course rating is 70.4 with a slope rating of 122.

The condition is o.k., but the greens are slow. Also, the par 4s are pretty repetitive. It is a city run course, and should probably be less expensive. There are others in the area around the same price that are much nicer.
