Detailed description of Gross National Golf Club
Gross National Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The course’s location makes it readily accessible from Minneapolis or St. Paul with Interstate 35W marking the southern boundary.
Gross National first opened for play in 1925. The course was designed by W.D. Clark.
A "great layout" is how most of their golfers describe the Gross National Golf Club Golf Course; another reason Gross has been considered “The People’s Choice'' for years. It has gently rolling hills with elevated tees and greens. There are three sets of tee-markers on each hole to challenge all skill levels. Gross National is a mature course with lots of old trees.
Gross National Golf Course plays to a par-71 and a maximum distance of 6,574 yards. The course rating is 70.4 with a slope rating of 122.

The condition is o.k., but the greens are slow. Also, the par 4s are pretty repetitive. It is a city run course, and should probably be less expensive. There are others in the area around the same price that are much nicer.
