Detailed description of Whispering Pines Golf Course
Whispering Pines Golf Course is a Public , 18 hole golf course located in Hurley , Mississippi.
Whispering Pines Golf Course first opened for play in 1974. In 2001, Nathan Crace completed a re-design of the front nine. He was chosen in 2005 to re-design the back nine.
The gently rolling fairways are generally open on the front nine and tree lined and on the back nine. Water comes into play on a few holes. Because Whispering Pines is easy to walk, it is a perfect course for beginners and seniors.
The par-72 course plays to 6,593 yards from the back tees for a par of 72.

This is a Public Course maintained by the County of Jackson here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The course is always maintained in an outstanding manor. You can't beat the price to play. The membership is very reasonable also. Sadly, I am unable to play for a while, I am suffering from a torn Rotator Cuff, but I can't wait to get back on the course.
