Tupelo Country Club first opened for play in 1970. The course was designed by John Frazier. The original golf course of Tupelo Country Club was built in 1930. It was a nine-hole golf course located in the city of Tupelo. That property served the Members until 1970, when Tupelo Country Club built a new 18 hole golf course and clubhouse at its current location in Belden, Mississippi just outside of Tupelo. The course was redesigned in 1988 by Kevin Tucker.
Beldon is located 100 miles southeast of Memphis and 145 miles west of Birmingham. The course was built on what was once a 250 acre cotton farm. Three hundred native trees planted in 2005 and 2006.
