Detailed description of Brookhaven Country Club
Country Club is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Brookhaven, Mississippi
The Brookhaven Country Club golf course opened in 1934. The course was designed by Frank Maxwell, Jr. and Nathan Crance.
This course was built on rolling terrain and the design includes water and trees that come into play. A back nine was added in spring of 2000, bringing the course to a full eighteen holes. This club is semi-private, and tee times may be reserved in advance.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 6319 yards. The course rating is 70.5 with a slope rating of 121. From the forward tees the course measures 4428 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 3, a par-5 that plays to 519 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 152 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 2, a 437 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 6, a 504 yard par-5.

Have played the course for the last 6yrs or so. An annual golf trip with some friends. Will be back.

This course is not extremely long, but this makes it fun to play. Great layout and plenty chances to score.
