Mountain View Golf Course, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Whitefield, New Hampshire.
The course first opened for play in 1900. The course was designed and built by Ralph Barton, a professor of Mathematics at Dartmouth College and renowned golf architect of the early 20th century. The course was renovated in 1999, when extensive work to the greens, tee boxes and course hazards allowed it to recapture its original grandeur.
The course sits on a beautiful country hillside affording fabulous views of four distinct mountain ranges. Two ponds were added on the fifth hole in 2009.

Nice course to go along with a great hotel. The Pro Shop staff (E.K.) are great. Can generally walk right on, or a small wait for a tee time. Will definitely be back. Casual course. Joining me on a round is what got my now 12 year old daughter to start playing golf.
