Rockland Country Club was incorporated in 1906 as a membership by invitation club. Robert White (1929), Alfred Tull (1965) and Robert Trent Jones (1965) have done redesigns on the course.
Rockland Country Club Golf Course is a hilly layout with tree-lined fairways. Water comes into play on one hole. The course offers a great variety of challenges, including some elevated tees, and others that require blind tee shots.
The first hole can be intimidating with a bunker taking up half of the fairway. The greens can play hard. If you fly a ball on the green from 100 yards out it is going off no matter where on the green you hit, you need to bounce the ball before the green or risk skipping off.
Blue tees: Par-71, 6,352 yards, 73.9 / 131
White tees: Par-71, 5,768 yards, 71.2 / 130
Red tees: Par-73, 5,071 yards, 68.6 / 125
