Mahopac Golf Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Mahopac, New York.

Golf at Mahopac dates to 1893 when a short 6-hole course, designed by Thomas Bendelow, was built on the east shore of Lake Mahopac. Five years later, Mahopac Golf Club was formed. The course moved to the north shore of the Lake in 1900 as a 9-hole, 2,730 yard layout. In 1913 it was extended to 18-holes that were designed by Devereux Emmet.

Great traditional layout. Fair, not to long. Favors a right hander fade,, all OB's are left. Great greens, small, firm, fast enough.

Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Expensive, but not worth it, Best course in the area
