North Hempstead Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Port Washington, New York.

North Hempstead golf course first opened for play in 1916. The course was designed by A. W. Tillinghast.

This short course (6,405 yards from the back tees) has wide fairways and large, elevated, slow greens. Water hazards come into play on two holes. The signature hole is #8, a 532-yard, par 5, requiring an approach shot to a green that is protected by water on the left.

Championship tees: par 71, 6,401 yards, course rating 71.2, course slope 132.

Middle tees: par 71, 6,110 yards, course rating 70, course slope 131.
