Port Bay Golf Club first opened for play in 1962. The course was extended to 18 holes in 1997. Port Bay Golf Course was designed by Bob Beardsley.
Port Bay Golf Club has large, undulating greens with medium to fast speed. The course is challenging, yet playable for all levels. The terrain is hilly with several ponds that come into play on four holes.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,006 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,727 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 480 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 135 yards from the back tees.

Sorry guys, but i just love this course. If you want to just have a good old fun day, this is the place to play. The new owner Jeff ( i think thats his name)is putting in the time and money to bring this course into it's own. I've played most central N.Y. courses, but have not had more fun then when I play this one. If you can't laugh at your self, and your playing partners, DON'T PLAY IT! Golf is a game, and if games are fun, please play this course.
