We had a terrible experience there last week. I brought a group of 12 guys out there to play. Halfway through our round, the owner (Victor Columbini) drove by one of our groups, and, from a distance, actually SCREAMED at our guys to "speed up your play, get moving, etc." Other golfers watched this event from the next hole. This was VERY unprofessional. He could have gotten out of his cart, and spoken to the group quietly like "Hey guys, would you mind picking up the pace a bit." Instead he chose an insulting, condescending method to make his point. After the round, when I heard about this, I went into the office to speak with Mr. Columbini. He had the nerve to DENY that he ever "yelled" at my players and called my guys a "bunch of LIARS." That's right... he called us LIARS! Unbelievable! Unless we receive an APOLOGY from Mr. Columbini, I will NEVER book my group at Deerfield again!

This club has been resurrected from a failing private club to one of the best bargains in the area. The layout is great; it can be played form 6200yds to 6700+ if desired. It is a great challenge at any level. The people are great. Good practice area. Great snack bar and lounge. I would recommend this to anyone looking for someplace to play in the area. The price is right too! You can not beat it.

This course has been reclaimed from neglect. Every year there are visible improvements to the fairways, tee boxes facility snack bar. Staff is friendly. I have been a league layer there for fourteen years and play 75 rounds a year one third of which are at Deerfield. Good job to owner Vic Columbini
