South Shore Golf Course first opened for play in 1927. The course was designed by Alfred H. Tull
South Shore Golf Course was cut out of the woods and is set amid rolling hills on the south shore of Staten Island. It is a very scenic and picturesque course. The generous fairways often call for length off the tee, while the small greens demand precision iron play.
South Shore Golf Course plays to a par-72 and maximum distance of 6,278 yards.
