Crooked Tree Golf Course is a Public 18-hole golf course located in Browns Summit, North Carolina.
Crooked Tree Golf Course is one of North Carolina's newest 18 hole courses. It is centrally located just north of Greensboro, convenient to Reidsville, Browns Summit and High Point. With 36 sand bunkers and 9 water holes, the course is challenging yet enjoyable.
In actuality, the course is not totally new. Monticello Golf Club, a dated nine-hole course that opened in 1955, designed by Horace Faucett and Luke Lambeth, has been reborn as Crooked Tree, a modern 18-hole layout. In addition to 10 new holes designed by Tommy Pegram, eight of the original holes were upgraded and realigned . A driving range and a new practice putting green were added. Cement cart paths throughout the course were laid. And of course, there is a new colonial-style clubhouse.
With 36 sand bunkers (25 on the all new back nine and 11 on the front) and water in play on nine holes, golfers will have to think their way around the course.

Course is in good condition due to very hard working owners and staff.

Great course - in great shape - grounds keepers are all over the place but they are polite to stop working as to not interrupt a shot. Club house staff is always polite and friendly. The course is very well maintained and has good cart paths (unlike some in the area). It was fun to play there today.
