I've played this course many times - even in the Bel-Aire days, and have always enjoyed the course and the upkeep. The past two time I played I wound up with a sore back (as did my son) due to the cart paths which have gotten to the point of overshadowing an otherwise nice golf course. They are sadly in need of repair.

Name of the course in 2010 had been changed to Pleasant Ridge Golf Course. Was close to where I was visiting.

The back nine have some goofy lay out to it. Playing from the blues, 12 and 13 are blind shots off the tee. 16 you have to lay up and have a long second shot to the green over water. Good course layout for seniors and ladies. I play it a lot because of the convenience to my house and the staff are good people.

I was in the area and the GPS found it just off the highway in about 5 minutes.
For the $20/18cart @ 6,432yds,this was a DEAL !!
Hilly layout, fast greens, 8 dog legs and no flat fairways, the course was a nice surprise.
The cart paths are the worse part of the course and walking would NOT be my first choice or 2nd, take the cart.
Many 2nd shots will test your yardage carry as the greens are on diffferent levels with the fairways. Some shots are 2 clubs because I took some 2nd shots to test my stroke. Shot 80/37putts from the blues and looking to return when the fairways have real grass in them. November is not the time to expect the verdant color of spring.
