Very nice muni course just off downtown Winston-Salem. New managers are working very hard to keep course in good shape. Women are definitely welcome as they just opened a new set of forward tees for a total of 4 tee options. Pretty course, hilly and somewhat tight but I play it weekly and enjoy it every time.

The normal weekend price is about $30.00. It's a pretty golf for the average golfer. There are more difficult courses in the area for the golfer looking for a tougher challenge.

This golf course was designed by Ellis Maples (the same person who designed Pine Brook Country club). For a muni, it is excellent. The price is very fair, the managers really take care of the course and it is a bit harder and testier than average. There are 4 sets of tees, the carts are new and it's easy to get to from anywhere in the Triad. The only drawback is that there are no restrooms on the front nine and one portajon on the back nine. Other than that (which is usually minor), it's worth playing over and over again.
