Course was in generally good condition. However the greens still had sand and holes from air ration..

One of my beefs about Waynesville Country Club, on this particular visit, was the pin placements. I never mind a challenging pin placement. I hate unfair pin placements. On two or three holes, the pins were in places in which you would putt, your ball would slow down near the hole, almost coming to a stop and then start rolling away only to find yourself with anywhere from 5 feet to 8 feet away. We had one guy that won a closest to the pin but ended up four putting from seven feet! Ridiculous. This is a "resort" that wants people to come back. They ought to tell the person that sets the pins.

Played on special price-$85/day-lodging, braekfast/unlimited golf. Cold weather in late Feb, but course in good shape and all 9's were interesting and good early season challenge. Very pretty scenery.

Sort of a nothing course. I guess if you took a group there and had the whole thing to yourself, you could make it fun.
