Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

Mid Pines golf course remains exactly as Donald Ross crafted the course in 1921, a rarity among his masterpieces.

The course has narrow fairways and undulating greens. There are three dogleg, tree-lined fairways. Two ponds come into play on three holes.  #18 is a scenic a 411-yard, par 4 that offers a panoramic view of the countryside. 

The course has been called “pure Donald Ross” because of how it fits the land where it was built. It’s been said that Mid Pines was never conceived as a daunting task to the finest players competing under championship conditions, but rather the course was intended simply as a fun course with an adequate challenge for serious players.
