Lake Junaluska Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Waynesville, North Carolina.

Lake Junaluska Golf Course first opened for play in 1919 as a 9 hole challenge. In 1994 the course was expanded to 18 holes.

This short eighteen hole course can be quite demanding because of all the trees that can affect your shots and the water hazards that come into play on key holes. Three of the fairways are doglegs, but all of them are wide open. 

Par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 5,744 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,202 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 465 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 176 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 3, a 371-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. This signature hole requires a downhill tee shot from off an elevated tee box, then an approach shot over a stream to an elevated green. The easiest hole is # 18, a 304 yard par-4.
