Cool Springs Golf Course opened its' first nine holes in 2002. The course was designed by Brian M. Silva.

An expansion to 18-holes is on the books. The plannned 18 hole course on 200 acres will measure 6,941yardage. There will be 120 foot rock cliff walls on holes 5 and 6. Blueprints call for 66 sand traps and 9 water hazards, along with a valley that will be filled with wildflowers on the course.

The preent 9-holes at Cool Springs Golf Course plays to a par-36 and measures 3,436 yards.

Unfortunately, this course that had such great promise went bankrupt and closed in 2006. The front nine was a good layout and the promised back nine looked super on paper; but money dried up and so did the course.
