Sylvania Country Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Sylvania, Ohio, a distinguished suburb of Toledo, Ohio. Conveniently located just off of Route US 23, and only minutes from downtown Toledo, and the Toledo suburbs of Perrysburg, Holland, Waterville, and Maumee, as well as, the Michigan cities of Temperance, Erie and Monroe.
The Sylvania Country Club Golf Course first opened for play in 1917. The course was designed by Willie Park, Jr.
Sylvania Country Club is an old tree lined course built on 160 acres of rolling terrain. The course rests against the 10 Mile Creek. A tacit stamp of approval was given to Sylvania in 1926 when the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America chose this site to establish their organization.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6637 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5604 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 8, a par-5 that plays to 551 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 170 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 438 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 10, a 174 yard par-3.

Difficult track but very fair. As an older course it is shorter than the newer designs, but many narrower tree lined fairways makes it a true test. While Inverness is much better know and widely recognized, there are many locals that favor Sylvania CC.
