Scarlett Woods Golf Course is a public, 18-hole, executive golf course located in Toronto, Ontario.
The course, designed by Howard Watson, first opened for play in 1972.
This is a good course for golfers trying to improve their game without having to struggle with the length of a regulation course. There are numerous mature trees lining the course, and water hazards come into play on several holes. Some of the par 4's are very challenging.
The signature hole is the #17, a 155-yard, par 3, which calls for an elevated tee shot through a narrow chute of trees to a well-bunkered green.
Par for the course is 62. From the back tees, the course plays to 3,749 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 3,140 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-4 that plays to 353 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 81 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 12, a 320-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Scarlett Woods Golf Course is # 5, a 107 yard par-3.
