Mayapple Golf Links is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
Mayapple Golf Links first opened for play in 1990. The course was designed by Ron Garl.
Mayapple Golf Links is a primerily open course. The course is very demanding because of the layout and the prevailing wind that comes into play. Water that comes into play on at least three holes. There are a few mature trees lining the fairways, and the holes are defined with mounds.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6542 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5129 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 573 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 105 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 17, a 456 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Mayapple Golf Links is # 2, a 169 yard par-3.

Greens are rough, but it's January. Presently they're making lots of improvements to the course, planting trees and building a nice pond. Staff is very friendly. We play this course all year long. Bar is closed during the off season.
