Deer Valley is a "Mom & Pop" run business in the best sense of the term. The owner takes great pride in keeping the course in terrific condition. Greens fees are very reasonable, and senior discounts (that start at 55 yr old) make Sunday morning a downright bargain @ $29 to ride. The course is relatively short and trouble free, which is why I gave a "difficulty" con. Golfers looking for a challenging course will find Deer Valley too short and too easy. However, the greens are always in great shape; pace of play is excellent because of the openness of the course; and the staff are very friendly. If you're looking for an enjoyable round of golf, instead of the US Open, this course is the one for you.
