Ridgeview Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. The course is less than 30 minutes from Johnstown, Greensburg, Latrobe, Somerset, and Donegal and about an hour from Pittsburgh and Altoona.
Ridgeview Golf Course opened in 1958.
Ridgeview Golf Course is a somewhat hilly course with no water hazards or sand bunkers.The fairways are tree lined, and the greens are small with medium speed. The ladies and gentlemen tee off from the same set of tees. There are additional tee locations that can for those wishing to play a double-loop eighteen hole round.
If playing a double loop 18, par for the course is 71. The course plays to 4,809 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 8, a par-5 that plays to 432 yards. The shortest hole at Ridgeview Golf Course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 130 yards from the back tees.

Ridgeview Golf Course, located in Ligonier, PA offers a unique challenge for even the most experienced golfers. The 2400 yard course seems short, however, well place trees and narrow fairways compliment the small greens making shot placement very important.
Beginning golfers will appreciate the course and enhance their skill level through all aspects of the game. The long ball hitter has the opportunity to drive the green on several holes and score an Eagle, but don't let the ball slice or hook as the trees will snag the ball turning an Eagle opportunity into a guaranteed Bogey or worse.
The greens fees are very reasonable and beverages and food are available at the clubhouse. A wonderful view of Chestnut Ridge enhances the overall experience.
