Cherry Creek Golf Course first opened for play in 1993. The course was redesigned in 2008 by Ed Beidel.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 6,147 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,533 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 17, a par-5 that plays to 582 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 102 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 17, the 582 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Cherry Creek Golf Course is # 8, the 102 yard par-3. Water hazards come into play on seven holes. This hole requires a half-wedge shot down a steep embankment, but the green sits so sharply below the tee that the front portion of the putting surface is not visible from the blue tees.

I liked the variety of the layout. The fairways and greens were in very good condition and were consistent. The course was not crowded on the day I played it. The outdoor snack bar with a pavilion was large and pleasant.
