The Lawrence Park Golf Club opened in 1921 as a 9-hole golf course. The course was constructed on land owned by the General Electric Company in Erie, Pennsylvania. The course was built by employees of the company for the employees of the company.
The original 9-hole make up what is today the back nine. In 1941 the Club hired Alfred H, Tull to layout nine new holes and bring the golf course up to a full 18-hole facility.

Beautiful parkland course setting, right on the shore of Lake Erie. Well maintained course by longtime groundskeeper who lives adjacent to course.
