Laurel Lane Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in West Kingston, Rhode Island.
Laurel Lane Country Club Golf Course first opened for play in 1961 as a 9-hole golf course. The back 9 was added in the 1970s and was designed by Richard Holley.
Laurel Lane Country Club is an 18 hole, par 71, 6177 yard, public golf course, situated 10 minutes south of Providence R.I. Located on Rt 138 just west of RT 2, it's surprisingly quick and easy to get to from almost anywhere in RI. The course is in a beautiful setting just a few miles from the University of Rhode Island.
With relatively few bunkers on the course and a picturesque layout, Laurel Lane is an excellent course for players of all skill levels. The front nine is fairly flat and open. The back nine is designed on rolling terrain with tree-lined fairways. The greens are somewhat small and flat, and the fairways are deceiving because you can go out-of-bounds quite easily. The back nine is very hilly compared to the front nine.
