The Club at Rawls Creek, previously named Coldstream Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Irmo, South Carolina. The Club at Rawls Creek is conveniently located within the Columbia SC Metropolitan area. Nestled between Interstates 20 and 26 it is only one mile south of Irmo, SC and just off of highway 60, also called Lake Murray Blvd.
The course was built in the 1970s as an anchor for the seven communities that surround it. It was renovated in 2006 when the greens were replaced with the newest ultra-dwarf Bermuda grass, Mini-Verde. The fast greens compliment the shot making quality of the layout to offer golfers an exciting challenge. But the one thing you will no doubt remember about the round is the Par 3's, where the drop from tee to green can be as much as 60 feet!
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,155 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,047 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 16, a par-5 that plays to 542 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 174 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 3, a 535 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 17, a 174 yard par-3. This narrow course has many trees lining its fairways which can alter your shots.
Blue tees: par-71, 6,155 yards, 70.0/133
White tees: par-71, 5,733 yards, 68.1/126

The Club at Rawls Creek closed in 2017.
The owners, the Mungo Homes Co., decided to donate the 116-acre course to the Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission.
Eventually, the commission plans to link the 4.5 miles of cart paths to the Three Rivers Greenway, a series of river walks in Columbia and Lexington County.
