Greenwood Country Club is a semi-private 18 hole golf course located in Greenwood, South Carolina.
The course dates in 1924.
Built in 1950, the 18 hole course, made up of Cedar and Lake nines, plays longer than its 6,800 yards from the back tees. With 6 sets of tees and TifEagle greens, Greenwood Country Club will not disappoint any golfer, of any skill level.
Up until 2010, The club offered three nine hole courses that could be played in three different eighteen hole combinations. They were the Lake Nine, The Cedar Nine, and The Lodge Nine.
The Lake/Cedar combination was generally played as one eighteen hole course and the Lodge Course was generally played by juniors and seniors.
The Lodge Nine closed in 2010 leaving the two superior nines, built in 1950, to make up Greenwood Golf Course.
