Enjoyed the layout of this course. Very well maintained. Pace of play was about 15 mins. longer then expected - waited quite a bit. One of the nicest in Myrtle Beach and I've played about 40 different courses here. As nice as the Members' course. Would definitely put on my repeat list.

The members course is a very good golf course. It has a good variety of holes with an upscale feel. The greens weren't great, but that was two years ago and I hear the replaced the bent grass with champion Bermuda last summer. Expensive, but worth the money if you want to play a tour quality course. Hard as hell from the back tees.

The condition of the Grande Dunes for off-season was great. The staff was friendly. The greens were not the very best we saw but very close to top quality.

I would play this course any time of the year. The layout makes you play golf. The course has character and no tricked up holes. They had a GPS system that was just right, it gave you the distance to the flag, not the center, and any hazard it gave the distance to clear or layup. I would recommend this to all my friends. And the food in the club house after the round was excellent as well as the service!
