Central Valley Golf Club first opened for play in 1928. The second nine holes were added 1969 and were designed by Mike Smith.
The front nine has wide-open fairways, but there are out-of-bounds stakes lining both sides of the first two holes. The back nine is more hilly, more scenic and plays shorter. There are water hazards that come into play on five holes.
Central Valley Golf Club plays to a par-72. The course measures 6,326 yards from the back tees and 5085 yards from the forward tees.
