Played this course last fall and it was in very good condition. Then my group played it this spring and it was a diffrent course. Other than the greens this course has not been watered. The fairways are crowned and with no water put on them the ball runs off to the ruff. The girls in the clubhouse are more intersted in texting on their phones or being on the computer than helping golfers at the counter. I would not say don't play this coures because it has been good in the past, but they need to water it. Some of the cart paths need work with deap wash outs along them. Be careful.

This course is awesome,it is a challenging course with lots of hills plenty of bunkers and the best scenery on any course I've ever been on. Would recommend going here if in the area. Staff were great never came in contact with any other golfers except on hole 10. Saw deer and turkey on the course. Just cant say enough about it, would love to go back if it wasnt 230 miles from home.

This golf course is really a "diamond in the rough." The course is challenging but fair to any golfer. With five sets of tees you can play the course to match your handicap and ability still have fun. The Tennessean is ranked as one of the top courses in the state and after you play it for the first time you will understand why. A MUST PLAY FOR 2007!!! You will have a great time at The Tennessean. The personnel work hard to make you feel appreciated for playing the course.
