Waverly golf course first opened for play in 1958.

The Waverly Country Club golf course was cut out of the woods. All the fairways are tree lined. The course has small greens that are elevated, and some of the hardest uphill par 3's in the area. Many of the fairways have dogleg configurations and water comes into play on one hole.
