Willow Creek Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Willow Creek Golf Club is an upscale daily fee golf course. This course has undulating greens and numerous trees that can affect your shots. Water hazards come into play on several holes, including the signature hole, #16, a 456-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over water. The club hosted the Nike Tour's Knoxville Open in The 1990's. The Club has a state of the art practice facility with three tees, chipping green, practice bunker and a putting green.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7,211 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,426 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 10, a par-5 that plays to 584 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 174 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 3, a 432 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 11, the 174 yard par-3.

I probably wouldn't play Willow if it wasn't so close to my home.
The conditions at the course are average to slightly above average. The layout is kind of boring and not particularly challenging. The best thing about the course is it is one of the more walkable courses in Knoxville. The staff is hit or miss. Some are helpful/friendly, others are rude and act inconvenienced by your presence.
The worst thing about the course is the value. During the summer you can expect to pay around $65 on the weekend. I don't mind higher prices if 1) the course is nice; 2) the high price keeps the hooligans off the course; and 3) the pace of play is decent. During my most recent 18 holes, the tee boxes were a disaster, on more than one occasion the drunken rednecks in front of my group urinated in the middle of the fairway and it took just over 5 hours to play the round.
I may go to Willow to walk 9 if I am in a pinch, but for the most part I avoid the place. There are far superior options: Wind River, Rarity Bay, Avalon, River Island, Sevierville GC, Centennial, and the list goes on.

These folks have always been accomadating for the EWGA leagues and events. I have to say though on the weekends the price is above what I like to pay but for someone on vacation - there is no prettier course, easy to find, and the folks in the pro shop are truly professional but with a southern flair. Come visit Knoxville and get a teetime at Willow Creek for some of the best golf you will ever experience.

Very nice layout, some of the fairways are pretty tight. Only one goofy hole (#5), two streams across fairway, yardage sign at tee box indicating distances to creeks was not accurate.
